The Iraqi Society of Clinical Biochemistry participates in the meeting of the Arab Chemists Union in Cairo.
The Iraqi Society for Clinical Biochemistry participated in the meeting of the Arab Chemists Union held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in the capital, Cairo, with the attendance of heads of Arab chemical societies and unions, as well as representatives of scientific and professional institutions from various Arab countries.
The meeting discussed the agenda items related to developing joint Arab chemical work, enhancing scientific and professional cooperation among member societies and unions, and reviewing the most prominent challenges and opportunities facing the chemistry sector in the Arab world.
During the meeting, the Iraqi Society for Clinical Biochemistry presented an overview of its most important scientific and professional activities, training programs, and academic participations, along with a review of its achievements in supporting and developing the field of clinical biochemistry in Iraq, thereby contributing to raising the scientific and professional level of specialized cadres.
The participants emphasized the importance of strengthening scientific partnerships and exchanging expertise among relevant Arab institutions, to support the path of scientific research and professional development, and to enhance the role of scientific societies in serving society and keeping pace with rapid developments in various branches of chemical sciences.
This participation comes within the framework of the Iraqi Society for Clinical Biochemistry's keenness to strengthen its Arab presence and solidify ties of cooperation with Arab scientific bodies and organizations, which positively reflects on the development of the specialty and the exchange of expertise and knowledge among specialists in Arab countries.
