The Iraqi Heart and Chest Society discusses preparations for the Eighth Respiratory Conference in Sulaymaniyah.
As part of its scientific and organizational activities, the Administrative Board of the Iraqi Heart and Chest Society held a meeting at the Society's headquarters on June 5, 2026, chaired by Dr. Muthanna Hameed Al-Quraishi, with the attendance of board members and representatives of specialized conference organizing companies, alongside representatives of supporting pharmaceutical and medical supplies companies.
The meeting was dedicated to discussing preparations and arrangements for the Eighth Respiratory Conference, scheduled to take place on August 20-21, 2026, in Sulaymaniyah Governorate. The organizational and technical aspects, as well as coordination mechanisms among participating entities, were reviewed to ensure the success of this important scientific event.
The attendees also discussed ways to enhance cooperation and partnership between the Society and supporting companies, contributing to the support of scientific and medical activities and events, and elevating the scientific and professional level of physicians and specialists in the fields of heart, chest, and respiratory diseases.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Administrative Board of the Society expressed its thanks and appreciation to all attendees and supporting companies for their cooperation and dedication to the success of the Society's events, wishing them continued success in serving the scientific and medical progress in Iraq.
