The Iraqi Laser Association participates in the International Conference on Laser and Optics Technology iLATOS2026.
As part of its direction towards enhancing its international scientific presence and expanding the horizons of research and technical cooperation, the Iraqi Laser Association participates as a Co-Host in the proceedings of the International Conference on Laser and Optics Technology 2026 – iLATOS2026, scheduled to be held from July 30–31, 2026, at the Ibn Sina Institute / Malaysia University of Technology – Johor Bahru / Malaysia.
This participation comes in response to the official invitation extended to the Association by the conference presidency, reflecting the scientific standing of the Association and its role in supporting the fields of lasers, optics, and photonics, as well as its contribution to enhancing scientific communication among researchers, academics, and specialized institutions at both regional and international levels.
The conference aims to bring together researchers, academics, scientists, professionals, and postgraduate students to discuss the latest scientific and applied developments in the fields of laser technology, optics, photonics, optical fiber technologies, optical engineering, medical and biomedical optics, and artificial intelligence in photonics.
The conference also serves as an international scientific platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise, showcasing recent research and innovations, and building research partnerships that contribute to keeping pace with the rapid transformations in relevant scientific and technological fields.
The Iraqi Laser Association affirms that its participation in this scientific event aligns with its mission to support rigorous scientific research, encourage openness to global academic and research institutions, and enhance Iraq's presence in specialized scientific conferences.
