The General Assembly of the Iraqi Engineers Union holds its meeting in Baghdad and approves its administrative and financial reports.

The General Assembly meeting of the Iraqi Engineers Association was held in Baghdad, attended by a large number of engineers from Baghdad and the Najaf Al-Ashraf branch, in an atmosphere reflecting a spirit of responsibility and professional commitment.
The meeting began with a moment of silence for the souls of colleagues and professors who have passed away, followed by the national anthem to mark the start of the proceedings.
The Vice President of the Association, Professor Wissam Al-Khazali, delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the President, greeting the members of the General Assembly, the Administrative Board, and the heads and members of the branches. He emphasized that the meeting represents an important organizational and professional milestone to review performance, enhance teamwork, and elevate the role of engineers in serving society, with a focus on developing competencies and preserving the profession's status and unity.
Subsequently, the attendees discussed the Association's annual report and its program for the upcoming phase, along with the financial report. Both were voted on by the attendees after considering the observations and suggestions raised during the discussion.
The meeting also featured the honoring of several colleagues in recognition of their commitment and engagement with the Association's activities and events.
The meeting concluded with a speech by the President of the Association, Consulting Engineer Riyadh Kitab, who stressed the importance of continuing to work as a unified team and strengthening the Association's role in supporting the professional and engineering path in the country.
