Department of Research and Development: Adding 5 points to the activities of scientific societies and accrediting their conference research for promotion.

The Research and Development Department of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research issued an official document stipulating the addition of five (5) points to the annual performance evaluation of faculty members for their scientific activities within associations established under Law No. (55) of 1981.

The document also stipulated the adoption of scientific research published in conferences organized by these associations for the purposes of academic promotion, based on the effective scientific promotion instructions of 2017.

This directive comes in support of the role of scientific associations in revitalizing research activity and enhancing faculty participation in specialized events and conferences, thereby contributing to the advancement of the academic and research level in higher education institutions.
