A scientific event on the occasion of Retinoblastoma Day highlights the diagnosis and treatment of vision loss in children.
The Iraqi Ophthalmology Association organized a distinguished scientific event on the occasion of Retinoblastoma Day, which witnessed notable attendance from doctors and specialists, with the participation of an elite group of experts in diagnosing and treating one of the leading causes of vision loss in children.
The event included hosting Professor Dr. Ihab Saad Othman, a specialist in ocular and orbital oncology from Cairo, via the Zoom platform, where he delivered a valuable scientific lecture, enriching the attendees with his extensive experience in this field, highlighting the latest diagnostic and therapeutic methods.
The event also featured outstanding efforts in organization and management, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Suzan Al-Qabtan and Professor Dr. Khitam Fakher, who contributed significantly to the scientific and logistical success of the event, alongside active participation from fellow lecturers.
The Association expressed its thanks and appreciation to Al-Ni'mah Scientific Office and the Spanish company Acuais for their logistical support in making this event a success, affirming its commitment to organizing more purposeful scientific activities.
The Association concluded by emphasizing the continuation of holding distinguished scientific events that contribute to developing medical skills and serving patients.
