A moving Ramadan lecture on the education of the daughters of Kufa.

As part of the Ramadan cultural season activities, the College of Education for Girls at the University of Kufa, in cooperation with the Association for Specialized Studies between the Seminary and the University, hosted an educational and ethical lecture titled: "Between a Tear and Repentance, a New Person is Born… Hearts Searching for God," delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Qasim Al-Hashimi, President of the Association, amidst a spiritual atmosphere filled with the spirit of the holy month.

The lecturer began his talk with heartfelt words that touched the audience's emotions, explaining that tears may be the beginning of a real transformation in a person's life, and that moments of brokenness sometimes represent a sincere gateway to returning to God, citing Quranic verses that affirm the vastness of divine mercy and the opening of the door to repentance.

In his lecture, he addressed the concept of spiritual emptiness, pointing out that the heart finds tranquility only through closeness to God, and that sins leave their mark on the soul, yet sincere repentance is capable of restoring purity and serenity. He also clarified that repentance is not merely words, but a profound transformation from which a new person is born, presenting real-life examples that express this transformation.

He highlighted the spiritual value of the tears of the repentant, considering them among the most honest moments a person has with themselves, where truth manifests and masks fall, emphasizing that crying out of fear of God represents an inner strength reflecting the awakening of conscience.

Regarding role models, he invoked the biography of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in his fear of God and the depth of his relationship with Him, affirming that the path to perfection is based on continuous self-monitoring and self-accountability. He also directed a special message to the female students, emphasizing the role of women in building society and the importance of investing the university stage in building oneself spiritually and ethically.

The lecture witnessed significant interaction from the audience, especially during moments of reflection when the lecturer called for self-review and strengthening the relationship with God, in an atmosphere characterized by deep emotion.

The lecture concluded with a message that a single moment of sincerity can completely change the course of a person's life, and that repentance not only erases sin but creates a person who is purer and closer to God. The lecturer also answered the students' questions, while the college's deanery presented him with a certificate of appreciation, and the two parties exchanged shields and publications in recognition of their joint cooperation.
