Young Iraqi doctors participate in the EPOMEC 2025 Conference with support from the ISCRS Association.

A number of Iraqi physicians, including residents and board trainees, participated in the EPOMEC 2025 conference, under the sponsorship and support of the Iraqi Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ISCRS), as part of efforts to support and train a new generation of ophthalmology specialists in Iraq.

The conference provided participants with an opportunity to develop their presentation and scientific communication skills, engage in specialized scientific discussions, and receive feedback from international professors and experts, which contributed to enhancing their clinical vision and professional confidence.

The Society extended its thanks to the conference management, organizers, and lecturers for providing this valuable training opportunity, which represents an important milestone in the careers of young physicians and underscores the importance of early and active participation in scientific events as a fundamental pillar of academic and professional growth.
