The Iraqi Public Relations Association holds a scientific workshop on the electronic promotion system in cooperation with the University of Wasit
The Iraqi Public Relations Association held the scientific workshop titled: "The Electronic Promotion System: Mechanism, Problems, and Solutions," in cooperation with (the Central Scientific Promotions Committee at the Presidency of the University of Wasit) and (the Sub-Scientific Promotions Committee at the College of Arts / University of Wasit), on Thursday, July 31, 2025, via the (Google Meet) platform.
The workshop aimed to spread academic awareness and scientific education regarding the mechanism of electronic scientific promotions, and to contribute to the development of the policies of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in line with the requirements of digital transformation and achieving quality and transparency in administrative and academic procedures.
The workshop was attended by a number of professors and experts specialized in scientific promotions affairs, and included multiple axes that addressed the challenges facing the application of the electronic system in promotions and proposed solutions to overcome them.
The workshop was lectured by:
- Professor Dr. Riyad Jabbar Al-Maliki – Head of the Central Scientific Promotions Committee – University of Wasit
- Professor Dr. Hassan Fahd Khazal Al-Khazali – Member of the Central Scientific Promotions Committee – University of Wasit
- Professor Dr. Abbas Salim Zaidan Al-Shammari – Head of the Sub-Scientific Promotions Committee – College of Arts – University of Wasit
- Lecturer Dr. Raed Abdul Kadhim Abdul Hussein Al-Waeli – Member of the Sub-Scientific Promotions Committee – College of Arts – University of Wasit.
The workshop witnessed wide attendance and effective participation by academics from various universities, reflecting the growing interest in developing academic systems according to the latest adopted digital standards.
